We finally got the CPO email for my wife and I today morning.
Had done all the follow-up like SRs, Infopass, Congressman inquiry. Not sure what worked.
After 10 years, we are finally greened. I sincerely hope for everyone who is current to be greened in time.

Mine is a labor substitution case. Labor PD: 02/2007. I-140 filed on 06/29/2007 in NSC and received the case number and also notice of action (I-797). If it is not a labor substitution case, then it would have been filed in TSC.
I live in Texas and my attorney filed I-1485 in TSC on 08/02/2007.
Whether my I-140 (based on labor substitution) will be transferred to TSC, from NSC? Or my I-485 will be transferred from TSC to NSC? How this transfer of cases from one center to another happening?

effective marketing...something called MLM was used and some false promises.
This event cannot run based on MLM or false promises.
It can be successful only if every member understands their contribution and participation is key for this event and they are the one who can solve their immigration issue by taking this event seriously.
What is the difference between the two? IMO, two words "Effective Marketing". Come on, where are the MBA's among us who can offer strategy? Actually I feel we are so backward that we don't even need MBA's to improve from here, just any simple ideas

My 485 application was filed with NSC on June 4th, 2007. I know it is too early to expect receipt notice.
Who will receive the original approval notice?. Attorney or me?. Who will receive the FP notice?.

Guys,
VISA BULLETIN FOR JUNE 2009 sets back EB2 priority back to 01JAN00.
Some thing needs to be done. The easist will be not counting ebdependents in ebquota. This should be very easy. There is no INA law linking ebquota with ebdependents.
I need IV Core help for this.

This will affect children of those immigrants who are reaching 18 or 21. The law says you can get the dependent GC only if you are under 18 or 21. All of them will be affected. (I was not sure of the age if it was 18 or 21). They will be in limbo.
The best thing would be not to count them in any quota like they do for immediate relatives of citizens.

No mine did not say that for myself or my husband. It just said approval notice sent. It still says the same thing it has never changed or been updated. It could be there system- who knows! I hope you get yours soon! Keep me updated.
It says approval notice sent? Do they send an approval for 765/EAD? I thought they would just send the card directly? Anyway, my spouse's ead says card in production and you should get it in 30days. Mine still says case recevied on Aug 31 and notice mailed out... But LUD on both applications is today...Will keep you posted...

My I-140 was approved by NSC in feb 2007, and my I485 was delivered on aug 10 to TSC.
1. Does anyone think that my case might be transfered to NSC (since I140 was approved there).
2. Can i file for AP without getting recipt for 485 (instead of recipt i am planning to attach the fedex delivery notice)

The answer is in your question. Numbers. A few years ago (circa 2002-) no one complained much about Indians. Recently the complaints in the media/forums etc. are much higher. Why ? More H1, => more bodyshoppers (mainly India) => more abuse => more complaints and so on.
Also FYI, H1 is "temporary" just like F1. H1 is not a guarantee to GC. So you need to go back after 6 years, since you say F1 should leave after graduation.

Yes the core problem is visa numbers. We have been fooled to believe for few days we all are safe and GC retrogression is over without even realizing someone was taking us for nice roller coaster ride.

We cannot reject numbersusa and other organizartion's ideas. As our people are suffering in retrogession some of their people and their families are impacted because of job loss in past. So we cannot tell that they do not have crediblity. They have some valid points also though some of them are absurd. But we need to understand them and try to elimimate their fears also.

1) Get ALL the spill overs from Eb1 and
2) Have fewer people drinking from their pool (As opposed to every tom dick & harry taking their share from the Eb3 pool, nurses to name a few).
