As an update,
I called TSC again today. Previously, I called early in the morning here on the East Coast and was transferred to the national service center, so at least this time I got to speak to someone @ TSC.
I gave them my receipt # and as soon as I mentioned biometrics the person said that she will schedule appointments for me and my wife and depending on availability at the local center I should get an appointment letter in the following 60 days. They must be getting a lot of this type of calls because she was very prompt to schedule the appointment. I also asked about my NC status and that was cleared in Sept so good news there as well.
I'm a little more optimistic as this time as at least now I know that USCIS initiated the request.... I'll wait and see what happens next.
So basically, this is the 3rd time I call and the first time they're willing to do anything to help.

If you move before you get your new card call customer service.

Is it not true that you would need to invest 1 million or so to get the GC ?, i am EB 2 with PD July 09 (not approved yet), my options are, a) go back b) go back c) go back , so i guess we will wait for this CIR, if it does not pass, and if I am still here, then I am outta here :cool:
For people like me with 3-Year degree EB2 is not an option. The only option I see is Investor Route...

Applications were sent to NSC on July 19th' 2007. I got my receipt numbers today and all three numbers (I485, EAD & AP) start with WAC ### ### ####. The online status for the applications say that the 485 application was transfered to Texas Service Center and the EAD & AP applications were sent to Califorina Service Center.
Also just fyi, my I-140 app. is pending at NSC since Dec' 2006. So now I am all over the country :-) Don't know its good or bad. Any idea anyone?

How can contributing $1000.00 to immigration voice solves this problem? You are telling like a swami's in India, give me money I will do some pooja on your behalf and all your problems will be solved.
The money is not for me or for the Immigration Voice but for the lobbying to make the uscis or the government understand how the employment based GC system is outdated, and how the people who came to usa with an American Dream are being played by the rules not for days or weeks or months but for years and years. And procrastinating their American Dream because of the limitations they have during the GC process.
Active participation or contribution of 10 or 20 or 100 people wont be any effective unless and untill we all do it collectively.

I do not understand why people spend their energy in coming up with some lame ideas. Just because you suffer does not mean that your fellows have to suffer, what is the point of being a sane individual with that kind of thought process.
There are people who come here on all kinds of visas F1, H1, L1 and like this country and stay back and need a green card for convenience. Students who came here want priority over people who came on H1B. It makes sense from their point of view.
Similarly people on H1B who got stuck in several stages and had to change the company have their own point of view.
How bout having a lame rule saying that GC for people with I.Q of 140 and above?
(or)
How bout having a lame rule like if you have a family you will be penalized by putting you at the end of the line for GC?
The list can go endless..
Worry less about who is cutting the line and getting ahead and please concentrate and put your energy and come up with good ideas and showing what we are really capable of..

Hello friends,
I was wondering about the FP notice time frame. I had applied for 485/EAD/AP on July 2nd at NSC which later got transferred to TSC. Receipts indicate that notice date is 8/27.
I was wondering how many days does it take to get FP notice from the 485 notice date? data indicates that some of the TSC guys who have notice dates of 8/29 have already got their FP notices scheduled for mid september.

My PD is April 2 2004 EB2 (US educated for the idiot who tried to divide us b/w US and non US educated)
As a token of appreciation - I have contributed $100 to IV just now.Receipt ID: 1467-8132-5592-9911. Request all of those who get GC this month to contribute some $ amount. Although I was not very active in the forums I have contributed at least $400 to this cause and I will do the same in the future. Please do not try to divide b/w EB3 EB2 US educated etc. which I am noticing lately.
WE REALLY NEED TO HELP OUR EB3 FRIENDS. PLEASE CONTRUBUTE ONCE IN AN YEAR ATLEAST. I HAVE NOTICED THE MOMENT THEY GET GC THEY FORGET THE PAST DIFFICULTIES AND MOVE ON WHICH IS FINE. BUT IF POSSIBLE CONTRIBUTE ONCE IN AN YEAR.

My checks cashed. Mailed I485-EB2, EAD, AP on June 29th, reached USCIS - NSC on July 2nd 10:25 am by Fedex. Checks cashed on 8/3 - Still not be able to see the back side of the image for RD etc. My I-140 was approved last year from TSC.
I was expecting my case to be transfered rom NSC to TSC!!?? also NO lud on I-140 case so far.
